Sporting Kansas City take the field again this evening against the Seattle Sounders after a 10 day break after the club’s 4-0 win over Minnesota United. There are two other MLS games today. Here is what Kansas City is looking for in those two games.
Nashville at Chicago
What we want to happen: Chicago win
Nashville SC can move ahead of Sporting KC in the single table standings with a win over the Chicago Fire. The Fire’s max points (47) meanwhile is just one more than Sporting’s current point total (46). So it’s a very easy decision here to cheer for the Fire to take points off Nashville.
LA at Austin
What we want to happen: Austin win
Another easy choice given the point total of the team KC want to win. Austin FC have 19 points currently and sit 27 points behind Sporting. That means that Austin’s max point total is Sporting KC’s current point total of 46. So it’s easy in this case to pick to cheer for Austin to beat the LA Galaxy who sit eight points behind Kansas City.
